Okay, here's the scoop: I broke down and bought one of those mobile hotspot thingies for my laptop. It's not the fastest (although much faster than no internet at all), and I've only got the basic data plan for now, till I can afford more per month, but the main thing is I HAVE INTERNET AT HOME AGAIN!
I'll be slowly getting back involved in posts where the CO needs to be, so bear with me. I've missed you all very much, and hope that you have missed me. For those of you who haven't missed me, shame on you!

» Email Situation

I believe I have created a working solution for the email problem.
The name of the person who updated/saved/posted an item was not showing and replaced by the server's default email; this is understandably rather confusing when dealing with an often-updated joint post.
By changing the "from" email to my own, I fixed the character name issue but created the problem of anyone using "reply all" in an email ending up sending it to me.
So, now I've created a custom email via my hosting that will fill in the same role, allowing character names to continue being displayed properly in emails sent from nova, but also giving the players peace of mind about replying to all participants without sending said message to a third party (AKA: Me).
This email account (nova@usspegasus.net) will remain unchecked by me in order to maintain user privacy.

The website has gone through a major update, from Nova 1 to Nova 2. This update comes with allot of minor changes and tweaks.
Fortunately, the website skin didn't break (mostly) during the update process, so other then the content stretching fully across the browser window, it all looks to be in order.
Please let me know if anything went majorly wrong.

We have the privilege of welcoming a new player, Lisa, who will be our new CMO, Lt. jg Sabrina Acheron. She comes highly recommended and I know she'll be a great addition to our little family!
In other news, things are starting to pick up a little steam. For those of you who haven't posted in a very long while, you now have a new person to tap on the shoulder and do a JP with, so let's get cracking! Many sub plots can be developed while the main mission plot is going on!
Holidays are fast approaching, so plans can be made for a Holiday party JP for after the mission, and there's a wedding to be planned, as well as a bachelor and bachelorette party, so everyone has something to think about!
Welcome aboard, Lisa......glad to have you here......and everyone else, don't run her off like you did the last one! LOL....

Okay folks,
I know everyone is busy, me included, so I understand when health, school, family, or work issues get in the way of the important stuff, like the Pegasus.
I think I've been extremely patient about the lack of posting on here for the last several months, but we need to get things going again. For those of you on the away team, the current post needs to get finished this week and the next one started.
For those of you in the poker game, same thing. Let's finish the post; the game doesn't have to be over with, it'll just end with everyone playing, talking about stuff, eating pizza and drinking.
For those of you who are not involved in either of those posts, please post SOMETHING. You woke up and stubbed your toe, you hurt yourself in a rock climbing accident in the holodeck, you ate too much cheesecake and had to report to sick bay for a stomach ache, just post something. We're here to write, and we're not writing.
If there is something going on in your particular RL that absolutely prevents you from writing anything, at least just drop me a message and let me know what's going on and when you'll be back.
This is not intended to be a gripe or a rant. I just feel that things need to get going again for the sake of the ship in general.....
