Headed home

Captain's Log.....Commander Denari has returned to the Pegasus with her away team and a guest. Her name is Lia Vehl, and she will be staying with us at least until our return to starbase, perhaps longer. I am going to meet her in sickbay shortly.

Commander Denari has also informed me that she has requested a transfer, which I knew about before she told me. It has been approved and will take effect as soon as leave begins. I will miss her.

I am about to make the rounds through each department, talking with the Department Heads, and touching base with each one. Lt. Ta'mas, the Vulcan healer, and Lt. O'Halloran will be leaving for Vulcan within the hour. Ta'mas will be undergoing the required treatments to get him back to tip top shape, both mentally and physically. Paige is going as a precaution. I hated to ruin her shoreleave, but she and Ta'mas have formed a friendship and I thought it best to have someone there who could handle him if he got out of control.

Hank Simpson, from the Academy, contacted me a little while ago. He says he has something to tell me about; he was being very secretive about it. I'm concerned as he's not an alarmist but seemed to be almost afraid. I'll be meeting him at Starbase Zulu.
